Surveys that pay with PayPal: how it works on JOYT

Yes, you can take paid surveys in the US and cash out to PayPal. On JOYT you can cash out from $5, and a 10-minute survey pays at least $0.50. So your first PayPal cash-out takes about ten completed surveys of that length.

How the PayPal cash-out works

  1. Complete surveys until your available balance reaches $5.
  2. Open Rewards in your account and choose PayPal.
  3. Pick an amount between $5 and $100 and follow the steps to send it to your PayPal account.

Rewards and cash-outs are run by Cint, which supplies JOYT's surveys. If a payment doesn't arrive, our rewards page explains what to check.

Why your first cash-out takes a while

New rewards stay pending for 28 to 56 days while Cint checks survey quality; members with Priority Status skip the wait. Many surveys end after a few questions because the researcher needs a different profile. Those screen-outs aren't paid, and JOYT looks for another survey for you, up to six times. PayPal or a gift card?

Both start at $5. PayPal gives you money you can spend anywhere; a gift card suits you if you shop at that store anyway. If Amazon is where you shop, read surveys that pay in Amazon gift cards. Bank transfer isn't available in the US.
